Lilly Lebanon Project construction underway

Work on the 600-acre Lilly campus is progressing swiftly, with mass grading and soil conditioning underway to create retention basins, reach desired building elevations and create earthen berms along some parts of the site perimeter.

To date, nearly 50 percent of soil preparation work has been completed. Dust mitigation efforts have continued to be a priority. Staffing for the project is now at approximately 150 employees and subcontractors and is expected to increase to 750 by the end of the year.

In the next few months expect to see progress, with the construction of a parking lot for construction workers and trailers assembled for administrative offices. Power poles are being installed to connect to a substation at US 52 and SR 47, and a retention pond is being excavated on the north side of the property. See the site map for more details of project goals.

During the build, the Fluor team is committed to delivering clear and transparent communications to the community. Project representatives have proactively been meeting with officials and residents in Boone County impacted by construction to hear concerns and ideas. These conversations will continue through the life span of the project. For more information on these and other project goals throughout the next few months, see the sitemap below.
